Is this zoo good to visit in winter, or would we get too cold walking around outside?

I actually do not think they have active hours in the winter?? I could be wrong, but YES you would get to cold walking around in the winter as most all attractions are outside.

It takes about 2 hours if you stop at each animal and watch bit or read the info. There are certain times that giraffes can be fed too. There is a carousel but you need to check whether it is operating that day. There is also a picnic area outside of the zoo, and a climbing, obstacle course for older kids.
At what time are the most animals out? We wanted to get to the zoo right at 9am, but were curious to know if most animals will still be in their enclosures at that time?

The animals are out early mornings for feedings! I would say before noon is the best time to go!
