They'll paw through the snow in the middle of winter to eat clover & it's the first thing to green up in the spring & one of the last things green in the late fall.

Deer do not normally go out to eat in food plots during noon, but they sure can be found in great cover with excellent browse at that time. Focus on that first, then plots IMO :cheers:
