I use them almost exclusively and they seem to catch the larger halibut vs. the bait on the ocean, and the halibut go crazy for them. The only problem is, I lose about 30% of my fish when hooked on this jig (the Mudraker).

2009年11月15日 · Very smooth and generates good leverage (and for me casts well) That reel gets mounted on everything from a 5'6" heavy standup rod for deepwater halibut, to a 6'6" trolling rod for albacore, to a 12' Surf rod for shorefishing sturgeon. The 6/1 ratio has its downside as does the lack of levelwind.
