ANSI vs ISO - which one is objectively better?
2021年10月20日 · ISO is used all over Europe, as well as Mexico, and about half of Canada etc. There are others. So even if we discount the oddball ones like JIS, and other ‘special’ layouts that aren’t either ISO or ANSI, and just count the population of the countries I can say for sure prefer one or the other,we still end up with a clear bias towards ISO.

When does kbdfans usually restock their sold out items? I would be open to building my own keyboard since I know how to solder. But a complete keyboard would be nice and convenient.

Preferably something low profile, as my wrists seem to prefer that. My usage is something like 50/50 work and gaming. Not really looking for too much DIY, but not afraid to get my hands dirty if I have to.

[HELP] Configuring ISO layout in VIA configurator
2020年6月22日 · I just got Kbd67 mkII and wanted to set it up in an ISO layout using VIA. My problem is that when I try to pair up keys available in the cofigurator with ISO keys both the key to nhe right of Lshift and key key to the left of enter are backslash/pipe. These are different buttons in ISO but there's only one type of backslash/pipe in VIA.

2022年9月9日 · But that's kind of beside the point. What I'd like to understand is why my supposedly ISO keyboard has this behaviour. Because it's not the "ISO keyboard" that was misbehaving but your programming was wrong since you have set "backslash keycode" that is NOT normally present on ISO keyboard. (yes, default mapping in VIA don't make this obvious)
Frequently switching between ISO and ANSI layout?
2020年4月27日 · I currently use a Mac and PC for gaming and software development. I've had the same wireless keyboard for my Macbook for the last 7 years and only today did I realise it is ANSI layout while my Macbook is ISO and the Full size keyboard on the PC is also ISO (although the " and @ keys are in different places on all of them).
