Yours are all in the same ball park it seems too. Your robot one is a bit heavier. My friends SG was way heavier than the ones I had.

24. Posted October 16, 2019. Hey all, looking to get my Gibson SG set up with heavier string gauges. The .9s on it right now are way too slinky especially with the Gibson short scale. I play mostly in standard, but I like to mess around with random alternate tunings and I also like a big thick sound so I know I want a higher gauge.

It seems oddly cheap to me, especially when people on Ultimate Guitar are paying above $1000 for it (cheapest was 990). Take a look at the pictures and please tell me if you think it's a fake or not.

With the relief almost flat, then adjust the action, and then double check the relief again - it can change with adjustments to the action. The fretboard should not curve up toward the strings on the high frets. Especially an SG.

There should be a small space between string and fret - no thicker than a piece of paper. Do the same with the high E. ACTION: fret low E at first fret and measure the distance from the bottom of the to the top of the 15th fret.
